Complete Me
By J. Kenner
Rating: Three and a half glasses of wine
UPDATED TO: 4 Glasses (See bottom of review for details)
Blurb:
This sexy, emotionally charged romance continues the story of Damien Stark, the powerful multimillionaire who’s never had to take “no” for an answer, and Nikki Fairchild, the Southern belle who only says “yes” on her own terms.
Our desire runs deep. But our secrets cut close. Beautiful, strong, and commanding, Damien Stark fills a void in me that no other man can touch. His fierce cravings push me beyond the brink of bliss—and unleash a wild passion that utterly consumes us both.
Yet beneath his need for dominance, he carries the wounds of a painful past. Haunted by a legacy of dark secrets and broken trust, he seeks release in our shared ecstasy, the  heat between us burning stronger each day.
Our attraction is undeniable, our obsession inevitable. Yet not even Damien can run from his ghosts, or shield us from the dangers yet to come.
Complete Me is an erotic romance intended for mature audiences.
Our Review:
Complete Me by J Kenner is the final book in the "Stark Trilogy" and how sad I am to see it come to an end. When I first picked up Release Me I swooned hardcore for Damien Stark. Ask my co-bloggers I totally had a fictional crush on Damien. Misunderstood, sexy, rich bad boy who enjoys the company of women.....lots of women. Enter Nikki the object of his affection. A very sexy bet and this sets up the basis for the trilogy. I have to be honest and say that this book was my least favorite of the trilogy. I felt like it was lacking story line and that J. K. was grasping at straws to make the story continue. If you have read the first 2 books you know that there is sex....a lot of sex! However I felt there was just too much sex in this one. It was used as filler where the story lacked.  Ok moving on.....

Damien is facing devastating charges and he must face his demons to over come the chaos that is quickly becoming his life. Standing by his side with demons of her own Nikki must help Damien dig deep into his past and bring forth things he never wanted to think about again.

"We are all searching for someone whose demons play well with ours."

With all consuming love Damien and Nikki must stand by each other now more then ever. Is love enough to bring you back from the depths of hell? As Damien focuses on his charges and his demons Nikki starts receiving threats. Damien would do anything to protect Nikki but sometimes you cant always protect those you love especially when you cant protect yourself.

“At the end of the day, it’s just you and me. We make our own reality, Nikki. And no one can take it from us. You and I are together, and we can withstand whatever the world throws at us.”

Pasts come back to haunt and friendships are tested. Can Damien and Nikki withstand the hurricane of life, can love conquer all?

"I vow to love you and no matter what challenges might carry us apart, we will always fin a way back to each other."
I really and truly enjoyed the Stark Trilogy and I look forward to reading more by the very talented J. Kenner. I give Complete Me by J. Kenner  3.5 glasses of White Zin.......however I give the Trilogy 4.5 glasses of White Zin.

Update: I have recently learned that J.Kenner is going to be releasing an epilogue novella of Damien and Nikki in December.....Ekkkkk! I was quite disappointed with the way Complete Me ended. I love a good happily every after epilouge. This being said I am modifying my previous rating of 3.5 glasses of white Zin to 4 glasses. I am so excited to see where we find Damien and Nikki  *waiting on pins and needles*
