After nearly a year and a half of grieving the loss of her husband, twenty-seven year old Alexa Sullivan Tate is headed back to her hometown after a decade of being away. She has no idea her high school crush, Jace McAllister, the guy who stole her heart the same night that he broke it, is more than ready to pick up the pieces. Jace has spent the last ten years in the Army defusing bomb after bomb, trying to forget the girl who ignited all his passions. Little does he know that the spark still exists. Ten years ago they had smoldering chemistry, but the spark between them now might light a fuse that leads to an explosion even Jace can't stop. Not that he wants to. If only Alexa can get past her guilt and trust her heart again. But how do you put it all on the line when you've already lost everything once before? *While this is a series, each book will be standalone with spinoff characters.

I nod, and she makes her way down the hall that I now see is lined with photographs. My stomach tightens, but I figure that I need to get this over with if I’m going to be staying here. I walk towards them, stopping at the first picture. I’m guessing it’s from the day they first met, the time she told me about, because she’s giving him a playful frown while he’s grinning at her like he’s already half in love with her, which, to be honest, he probably was. I feel a slight twinge as I take in the picture, knowing that at that moment he had no idea how short of a life he was going to have with her. Hell, he probably wouldn’t have even cared, as long as he had her while he could. Shaking the thought out of my head, I browse each one. There are candid shots of them mixed throughout professional ones from events such as her graduation, Sierra and Jeremy’s wedding, and what looks like an engagement party. As I pass each picture, it’s becoming more real to me that she had a whole separate life before we reconnected. Strangely, I’m not bothered by it, seeing how happy she looks in these pictures, even though it was with another man and not me. I’ll admit that I was a little worried when she told me about their fighting, but looking at these pictures? I know Ty made her a happy woman, and I’m grateful that she had that while she could. Do I wish it had been me? Fuck yes, but what can you do? Coming to the last picture, I’m breathless as the image of Alexa in a wedding dress enters my vision. I’m moving in for closer inspection when she comes out of her room, stopping when she catches me. Her hand covers her mouth as she closes her eyes for a split second. She swallows hard before walking towards me. She reaches out her hand as if to touch my arm before pulling it back, obviously thinking better of it. “Jace, I… This is probably awkward, I’m sorry. I just… I wasn’t expecting you, and I don’t…” She trails off as she stares at the wall, glancing at the picture before turning her eyes towards the floor.

About the Author
I'm a twenty six year old book junkie who is also obsessed with sports. Bengals, Buckeyes, Reds are my teams! I work for the government during the day, hang out with Air National Guard on the weekends, and am married to a guy 15 inches taller than me. We're quite the pair! We currently live right outside of Dayton, OH with our two cats. I've been reading since I was a kid. My mom was a librarian, so it was a given. Heck, she even made sure we watched Wishbone instead of the Smurfs. In 2011 when I graduated from college, my mom bought me a Nook, and then in the summer of 2012 I found this amazing site called Goodreads. I was introduced to so many amazing indie/self-published authors. After reading almost 400 books that year, my husband gave me the push to finally sit down and write my own. It was a rocky start, but over time the words started flowing and I couldn't get Jace and Lexi out of my head. If I’m not writing or looking through tons of photos of hot men, all in the name of research, then you can probably find me curled up with my Kindle, ignoring the rest of the world. I love my sports almost as much as I love my books. My other obsessions include red wine, hot men, country music, and all things Grace Potter. I LOVE to hear from readers, so please feel free to contact via any social media site listed below.

*While this is a series, each book will be standalone.

Aly's Review:

As I am sure all of you can imagine I read a lot of books, each one offering me a little something different. Some make me laugh to the point of tears, some make me sadly sob, and some make me want to break things. However occasionally a magical book comes along that does it all. Ignite by Tessa Teevan was exactly that book for me. I laughed. I cried. I laughed some more. I screamed at Tessa on twitter who by the way, encouraged me to wine at three in the afternoon. Authors orders! I had no choice but to follow them. I loved this book!
"Sober and clearheaded, I still want to do this, but at the same time, I’m scared to let him in my heart again. It may be a lost cause, though, because I’m not sure he ever really left it."
Ignite is about Jace and Lexi who despite being best friends and secretly in love for most of their highschool years missed out on a future together. Jace never truly moved on from the girl who stole his heart 10 years earlier, and it killed him when he realized Lexi did. After a horrible accident left her a 27 year old widow, Lexi is grief stricken and unable to even consider moving forward. Her well meaning sister decides to step in and reunite Lexi with the one man who could fill the holes left in her heart, Jace.

Sounds sad, huh? WRONG...well kind of wrong. This book is HILARIOUS!
“Please, please, please, I implore you. Do not forget to pack lube. I’ve heard that dry vaginas can be fatal to a man’s foreskin.”
And my personal favorite quote of the entire book:

“Oh my God, you did not just say that. Blue lips? Is that even a thing?”
“Yeah, you know, like blue balls. Maybe blue clit would be better?”

Ignite is about second chances, letting go of the past, and learning to love again. I know what you are thinking. You've read 1700 books just like that right? WRONG! Ignite is not your cookie cutter romance. It has a few of familiar situations and themes but the content is unique, fun, and interesting. This book hooked me during the prologue and never let go. It patted me on the ass with a "Happily Every After", leaving me both sated and hung over (and not just because of my prescribed midday drinks).
Loving you was easy. Losing you broke me. Somehow, I found someone who was able to pick up every single piece and make me whole again.

Ignite by Tessa Teevan left me with more than I even could have imagined....but more on that later ;) Oh look, my review has a cliff hanger!

Still Human
By Kerry Heavens

Danny and Liv are back...

Danny loves Liv. He knows he loves her more than she loves him because she ran without a word when she saw their future mapped out before her. He knows he will never love anyone like he loved her and this time he doesn’t think he can move on.

Liv loves Danny. She knows she loves him more than he loves her because he broke her heart in the worst possible way, right when things were falling into place. She knows she will never love anyone like she loves him and this time she doesn’t think she can move on.

They needed a second chance because they just weren’t ready for their first, but when events changed everything between them, they discovered they were just human after all. Now Liv and Danny have to find a way to survive being hurt by each other.

They doubted, they underestimated and they did believe the worst, but only because they were too young the first time and too vulnerable the second time. But now they have changed and if they are not the same, surely things can only turn out differently?

Ash's Review
FINALLY!!!!! After waiting and wondering what the HELL was going to happen, I FINALLY know!  And let me tell you I was literally yelling at my iPad.
Liv, what are you doing!?!!!??  I was so annoyed with Liv at first.  Why wouldn't she read the emails? Why wouldn't she answer the phone?!?!?  You're making me SCHRAZY over here!!!!!  And Danny, you are melting my heart and making me swoon.  I was literally looking at my husband asking myself, "would HE do that for you?"  I have to tell you, I don't think he would..... Stubborn man!!!

BUT WAIT!!!!! Liv does finally hear me, and I'm finally able to let out the breath I'd been holding.....PHEW.  I was so excited to be able to review this book as well, and I wasn't disappointed.  It had everything the first book had, without the annoying cliffhanger at the end.

Max and Jen come through as the amazing BFF's that they are..... Seriously, they put besties all over the world to shame.  I loved that Max was soooo supportive of Danny in the beginning.  And Jen is just wonderful.  She makes me want to be a better friend.  The unconditional love she has for Danny is so fabulous.  Every single guy should have a friend like her.  And we can't forget Scott and Charlie.  It's interesting to see a supporting cast to the supporting cast (did you follow me just now?)  Kerry does a really good job developing her characters and I loved them all.

I'm giving Still Human by Kerry Heavens 4 yummy glasses of White Zin....... So glad to have been a part of their story!!!

Catch My Fall
By Ella Fox
Our Rating: 4 Glasses of Wine

Mia Reeve’s faith, trust and sense of security were all taken away in the blink of an eye. In need of a fresh start, she settles into a new town and begins to make a new life. Tristan Chamberlain has always kept girls at arms length and he has no intention of changing. He’s caring, smart, handsome, but he’s also dealing with a lifetime of guilt that’s slowly but surely destroying him. Sometimes the thing that you run from is the one thing that will save you. Separately, they’re both free-falling. Together, they’re about to find that love can create the strongest safety net of all.

Fall's Review:

"Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much" Hellen Keller

HOLY SHIT! 2 words that sum up the whole book! Really..........WOW......this book threw me down the stairs then helped me up and gave me a hug just to push me back down the stairs. I have never read anything by Ella Fox before and after reading Catch my Fall her other books are on my TBR list. I honestly shed tears at one point in this book and found my jaw hanging on the floor. When I write reviews I tend to sway either towards a really good  "YOU HAVE TO READ THIS BOOK" review or a more negative "ARE YOU FREAKIN' KIDDING ME ALREADY?!!?" So I am gonna switch it up a little, and try more of a pro and con type review. Again for sake of the book there will be no spoilers here because this is a book that slaps you in the face and then hugs you while crying "please forgive me!".

So lets start with what I DID like: I loved the supporting characters. They really were such a huge part of the book that without them we would have been missing so much! Luckily we will be seeing more of them in the next book.......squeeee!!!! A given is that I LOVED Tristan he has that all around bad boy, jock vibe that makes everyone think he is the perfect player. What got me most about Tristan is the softer side, the side that authors don't let you see until the character feels comfortable. Even though at times it was hard to digest, the description of the abuse was very helpful in picturing what was happening to these people dancing around in your head. There were quit a few "flashbacks" between the two characters. Normally I find this annoying, it can make the story line harder to follow. However Ella used the flashbacks as a way to tell us the readers the questions we were all asking in our minds. Without them I think the story would not have flowed as smoothly.

OK now things that got on my nerves: A big fat #1 goes to the nicknames!!! What the Hell?!?!? They are the worst nicknames two characters have EVER been called!! That really annoyed me through out the whole book. Now let me admit one thing here real quick...I am a HEA girl all the way! So when not all the "bad guys" suffered, yeah that kind of makes me want to jump into the book and shoot them all myself. But who knows maybe Ella has big plans for them in the next book. Lastly....the ending or as some would call it a cliffhanger. This book was written as a stand alone and the next book in this series will follow 2 other characters. So when you wrap the book up and you give us a happy epilogue and you are just starting to think " finally...finally they are going have their happily ever after" BAM! Cliffhanger! Trust me when I say it will NOT leave you wanting to jump off the roof of your house however it does make you think to yourself, "REALLY!?!?!?"

"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage."

This battered and bruised reader give Catch my Fall by Ella Fox 4 Glasses of White Zin...however to make it through the book you might need something a little stronger! Until next time Ms. Fox keep on doing what you rock at!!! You have a lot of battered hearts to sew back together  *wink*....(sneaks back into the room) Oh and P.S. Tristan has a twin!!!!!! *waves*

Review: Cage by Harper Sloan

by Harper Sloan
Our Rating: A Whole Bottle of Wine

"Alpha heroes you'll want to kidnap and keep, heroines to root for, and sizzling love scenes with emotional punch." Carly Phillips, NY Times Bestselling Author

Greg Cage was born to protect. While growing up, he was his mother and sister’s shield against the world... until he failed. For the last decade, he has carried that guilt and need for vengeance around... until it was stripped from him. Now, with his best friend getting married and no longer needing his protection, he is even more lost, completely adrift, and desperate for some control. All he has ever known was how to protect: his family, his friends, and his country. Can he go against everything he has ever known, and give up that control?

Melissa Larson will never let anyone hold the reins in her life. She has been the rock in her family for more years than she can remember, and the fight to keep them together is her main priority right now. She has always been fiercely independent and proud. The last thing she will ever do is ask for someone else’s help. But when that choice is out of her control, forcing her to rely on others to save her and her family, and pick up the pieces that are left, will she be able to let someone else be her strength?

The second Greg locks eyes with Meli, he knows that she is someone he needs. Someone he craves. Meli knew the second she met Greg that he would be nothing but trouble and heartache. Her life takes an unexpected turn, and that bitch Fate is back to wreak more havoc on another member of the Corps family.

All hell breaks loose, leaving Greg no choice but to call in a favor. He hooks back up with his old friend Braxxon Breaker from the Breakneck MC. Together, they make sure that nothing threatens anyone Greg loves again.

CAGE is a complete story with a HEA.

Aly's Review:

Cage by Harper Sloan can only be described as "alpha male heaven!" Greg Cage embodies the older, thankfully non blood related, brother you always wanted. He is kindhearted, bossy, 27 shades of protective, and off the charts sexy. Everyone needs a Greg Cage in their life. In Harper Sloan's first book in the Corps Security series, Axel, we watched Greg "rescue" Izzy, from an unimaginable situation. However if you think you fell in love with him during Axel you have no idea what Cage actually has to offer.

Haunted by his own demons, Cage has a need to fiercely protect those he loves. After meeting Melissa, a strong, independent and busty nurse that he can't help but notice, Greg decides to make her his. It takes a little while for Melissa to realize she has been claimed but when drama ensues she is forced to finally lean on Greg trusting him to do some rescuing yet again.

This book is packed full of sex, humor, romance, action, and secrets. And when I say secrets, I'm not just talking about the surprises Greg has hiding in his pants. ;-) Cage is the perfect addition to the Corps Security Series. If you have not read anything from Harper Sloan yet, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? While Cage can be read as a stand alone, I highly encourage reading Axel first. It helps set up a few of the situations, and really gives you some background (and an instant crush) on Greg Cage. I'm giving Cage by Harper Sloan a whole bottle of wine!

About the Author:
Harper lives in small town Georgia just a short drive from her hometown of Peachtree City. She (and her 3 daughters) enjoy ruling the house they dubbed 'Estrogen Ocean', much to her husband’s chagrin. Harper has a borderline unhealthy obsession with books; you can almost ALWAYS find her with her ereader attached. As an ex-reviewer and blogger, Harper's passion for reading runs deep. It wasn't until 'Axel' decided to take up residence that she realized her true calling.
She started using writing as a way to unwind when the house went to sleep at night; and with a house full of crazy it was the perfect way to just relax. It didn't take long before a head full of very demanding alphas would stop at nothing to have their story told.

 Double Full
By Kindle Alexander
Our Rating: A Whole Bottle of Wine

Up and coming football hero, Colton Michaels, makes a Hail Mary pass one night in the college locker room that results in the hottest, sexiest five days of his young life. However, interference after the play has him hiding his past and burying his future in the bottom of a bottle. While Colt seems to have it all, looks can be deceiving, especially when you’re trapped so far in a closet that you can’t see your way out. When ten years of living his expected fast-lane lifestyle lands him engaged to his manipulative Russian supermodel girlfriend, he decides it’s time to call a new play.
Jace Montgomery single-handily built the largest all-star cheerleading gym in the world, driven by a need to forget a life-altering encounter with a handsome quarterback a decade ago. His reputation as an excellent coach, hard-nosed business man, and savvy entrepreneur earned him respect in the sometimes catty world of competitive cheerleading. When Jace learns of his ex-lover’s plans to marry, his heart executes a barrel roll and his carefully-placed resolve tumbles down without a mat to absorb the shock. Can his island escape help him to finally let go of the past and move his life forward?
Aly's Review:
Double Full by Kindle Alexander was my first introduction into the wonderful world of male/male romance novels. I've read quiet a few books where there happens to be some male on male action, but never a full on gay romantic relationship. So if you are like me, Double Full is the PERFECT place for you to start. Before starting this book, I wasn't quiet sure what to expect. Was it erotic or "fade to black" Romance? Come on, you know you are wondering the same thing! I just needed someone to give me a heat factor! Kindle has several other books out there, but even in the reviews I couldn't tell what category her books fit. It seems no one really elaborated further than "Gay romance". So let me lay it out for you.

Double Full is both erotic and romantic. It has equal parts of heartfelt emotions that will make you swoon, and steamy sex scenes that will leave you chugging wine and fanning yourself. Need further explanation?

"Let me tell you what I am sure of, what I want. I want you to fuck me tonight. I want you inside me. It’s my first time, but I know I liked your finger in my ass when we made out in the locker room. How do you feel about that?"

“I’ve never gotten over you. Ever. Not one day passed that I didn’t think about you. For me, you’re the love of my life. Wherever you are is exactly where I want to be,"

Now to the review part!
Double Full is more that just a book about Colton Michaels and Jace Montgomery falling in love. This book is packed full of drama and angst! Two men falling in love is hard enough when one is not ready to publicly embrace his sexuality. Add in an abusive father and a world of professional sports dominated by homophobes, and a relationship between the star quarterback and male cheerleader becomes more that just difficult. It becomes impossible. Colton Michaels has everything to lose from coming out as a homosexual man. His budding career as an NFL quarterback, his family and team mates are all on the line. But for Colton the scariest of all is losing Jace.

I have a new "author crush" on Kindle Alexander. I just finished one of her other books,Texas Pride, and it is just as phenomenal as this one (review to follow soon). Seriously, I love her. If you are unsure about the male/male aspect of this book. I urge you to give it a try. I promise you will fall in love with these men just as much as you would any male/female relationship. Yes it's hot and sexy, but at it's core Double Full is a love story. I fell in love with Colt and Jace and I know you will too. I am giving Double Full by one of my new favorite authors, Kindle Alexander, a whole bottle of wine!!

Review: Carter Reed by Tijan

Monday, October 14, 2013

Carter Reed
By Tijan
Our Rating: A Whole Bottle of Wine

Emma decided to skip the gym and went home early. It was the last easy decision she made because she found her roommate being raped by the boyfriend. She had two choices. Call the cops and be killed by his family’s mafia connections or kill him first and hope to survive. There was no choice to her. She killed the bastard first and went to the one person who could protect her. Carter Reed. He’s a weapon for the rivaling mafia family, but he’s also Emma’s secret. Not only was he best friends with her brother, but she’s the reason he became that weapon in the first place.

Fall's Review:
So I am a HUGE Tijan fan......like HUGE!! I was so excited when we got on this tour that I think I had palpitations. To be honest I would have read this book in a heartbeat even if the synopsis didn't sound amazing. HAVE YOU SEEN THE COVER OF THIS BOOK!! I mean Holy Shit, HOT DAMN! It is even better that the actual book is just as amazing as the cover.

Emma grew up with her brother AJ and his best friend Carter Reed. When Emma watches her brother be murdered, Carter seems to disappear right along with him. But people talk so she has heard of Carter Reed and the cold blooded killer that he has become.

“You don’t trust anyone, no one except Carter. Go to Carter. He’ll take care of everything. He’ll take care of you, Ems. I promise.” – AJ

Emma comes home early from the gym to find her roommate being raped. She makes a decision she feels is the only one to make and kills the MotherF@cker! What she doesn't realize is that she has just opened Pandora's box. What do you do when you killed a killer.....?

"I was going to die. It was a matter of time." – Emma

“Four days ago, I thought my life was ending. Everything had taken a 180 degree turn.” – Emma

This book has so much happening that you feel like you are part of the story. The emotions you feel are unlike any book I have read. It truly is a roller coaster and at one point I think I was screaming "stop I want to get off!"  I felt so completely intoxicated with the sexual chemistry between Emma and Carter. Sizzling doesn’t even begin to describe it! Erotic, Sexy, made my skin tingle.........every look, every touch and every word between these two passionate characters made me want more! I feel the synopsis actually does this book justice, and believe me that is rare. If a reviewer says much more, we are spoiling it for you.

“This,” he growled in a whisper against my lips. “This is what I wanted that night. I couldn’t contain myself and I had to taste you, but tonight is the night I really have you. You’re mine, Emma. You always have been.”– Carter

I have a new book boyfriend in Carter Reed!!! To watch the relationship between Emma and Carter rise and fall, twist and turn is exhilarating! Carter is the classic Tijan sex on legs, bad boy Hero but we also see his emotions come out toward those he loves and fights for. I loved Emma because I felt like she was handed shit in life but rather then complain and whine about it she pulled it together and moved on.....survived.

"God, how could I want this man? He was cold, detached. He killed others."- Emma
“I would declare war for you.” – Carter

I am going to try and move on from the world of Carter Reed however I think I have been ruined for all others by Tijan. I will say that this is by far my favorite Tijan book, and I have read them all! I HIGHLY recommend that you read this amazing book. Trust me you will NOT be disappointed! Carter Reed by Tijan more then deserves a Full Bottle of White Zin from this faithful and loyal reader! Until next time... Tijan keep on rockin' on!

About The Author:
Tijan started writing later in life, after she had already graduated college with a different direction in mind and a different degree under her belt. Hitting the brakes on that path, she taught herself how to write a good book and began posting at sites such as Fictionpress, along with Wattpad. After receiving such encouraging messages from readers, she self-published Fallen Crest High and has continued throughout the year. She continues to keep writing NA books!

Images of the two of us flashed in my mind and I grew wet again. He was going to be the death of me. A part of me knew that once I felt him inside of me, it wouldn't be enough. I would want more. I would never be satisfied, and when he made me come, that'd only been the teaser. My body was primed and ready again. My hand slid down his muscular back. It felt all the ridges, all the dips and curves. A dark pleasure spread through me when I felt his muscles contract as he turned his head to see me.
This was mine.
He was mine.
He groaned and had me against the wall in a second. His hands grabbed my hips and positioned me at an angle before he slammed his into mine. I felt the bulge in front of his pants. That was for me. All for me. He bent over me and lowered his lips just above mine as he thrust against me.
I couldn't breathe. My hands held onto his arms. The muscles there also moved underneath my touch, as if wanting more.
"This," he growled in a whisper against my lips. "This is what I wanted that night. I couldn't contain myself and I had to taste you, but tonight is the night I really have you. You're mine, Emma. You always have been."
I nodded, so weak against his touch.
He was mine as well, but I didn't say it. Not yet, though everything in my body was aching for me to do so.
He took my hand again and led the way out into the hallway. People stopped and watched us as we left. I knew it was because of him. Carter was lethal. His body was carved and molded to perfection. His eyes were cold while his face resembled an angel's. Everyone knew who he was, where he had come from. Even the media went into a frenzy when he was seen in public. However, he moved like a ghost, how he trained his men to be, so those moments were rare, and this moment wasn't any different. His staff had seen him before, but they all went quiet in the presence of a deadly panther.
A wave of possession rocked through me. My legs shook as I remembered my climax. This creature who held my hand was mine, as I was his. I belonged to him and I gasped in silence as I felt his claim sink into my blood. It went deep to the bones. Everything in me belonged to him, and as I followed him through his club, I knew that I was becoming addicted to him. My hand yearned to touch his back again, to slide across his muscles and so much more.
I bit down on my lip. This ache wasn't going to go away. The ache between my legs and the ache that resonated deep inside of me grew every time I was with him, every time he looked and touched me.
A soft sigh left me and he glanced back.
I was scorched by his gaze. His wolf eyes saw into me. I was stripped bare to him, no matter what I wore or how many walls were around my heart. He saw through everything. His hand tightened around mine, and he lifted it. His lips grazed against the top of it. My eyes closed, the ache doubled between my legs at that soft caress.
"Sir." A man stepped out of the shadows. Another guard.
Carter stopped as he listened to what the man had to say. He spoke quietly so I couldn't hear, but both glanced at me.
His eyes narrowed and darkened. His hold on my hand became possessive.
I asked again, "Carter? What is it?"
He turned, his decision made, and he curved a hand into the place between my shoulders blades. He started to walk with me down a hallway. As we got further along, I saw Mike waiting for us and then I recognized it was the same box where I had left Noah and Theresa. I dug my feet in. I didn't know what was going on, but I knew he was going to leave me there. Something came up and he needed to handle whatever it was, but I didn't want to be left behind.
"No." I shook my head. "You're not leaving me." Not again.

Wicked Thing
by Angeline Kace
Our Rating: 4 Glasses of Wine

Carmyn Rafferty witnessed the aftermath of her mother's affair. She learned at a young age not to trust anyone. Especially not your spouse. So she's planned. She's planned every detail of her life: who her husband will be, what their careers will be, what their lives will be like. All to avoid the pain of infidelity.

Dallas Brown lives a life all his own. He doesn't do relationships, he doesn't care what anyone thinks of him, and he doesn't live up to anyone's expectations but his own.

When Carmyn's fiancé cheats on her, it sends her into a whirlwind of one-night stands with the most infamous player on campus. She can't seem to stay away from this tough guy and his dangerous motorcycle. Everything about him is the complete opposite of who she'd planned to fall in love with: tattoos, dark stubble along his jawline, and hair that brushes his shoulders.

As Dallas and Carmyn begin to fall deeper and deeper into each other, they learn that love can truly be a
wicked, wicked thing.
Fall's Review:
I came upon this book on accident. Aly asked me if I would read it and review it and I said "sure why not!" Not until the day before I started the book did I bother looking up the description. From the Synopsis I thought "great another cookie cutter YA book". I have to say that once I started the book I was instantly hooked and could NOT put it down! I fell in love with not only the 2 main characters but the supporting characters as well!

Carmyn has her world turned upside down when her parents get a divorce. Walking in on her mom having sex with another man forever changed Carmyns heart. Living with a mother who manipulates men and her own daughter to get what she wants was exhausting. Not to mention the drugs, late nights with random men and never being the mother that Carmyn needs. Carmyn swears that she will never let her life turn out like her moms and makes a life plan. When she finds her boyfriend of 3 years banging a blonde in his apartment is sets her world spinning. He fit into her perfect plan. Now what is she going to do?

Dallas learned at a young age that relationships don't last. When his father has an affair and gets his mistress pregnant his mom sends him packing. Dallas is devastated that his father left him for his "other family".  College is full of parties and hot girls. One of them being Carmyn but there is one problem, her douche bag boyfriend. When Dallas learns that Carmyn broke it off with her boyfriend he sets out to get her in bed with him for one night. Dallas is HOT and he has that bad boy, alpha male complex but is also sweet, compassionate and very romantic.

This books takes Dallas and Carmyn down a road where they learn to battles shared demons and thaw the ice around each others hearts. Maybe in the process they can find happiness with each other. When someone from Dallas past comes into the mix he has to face the past that he is trying to forget. Will Camryn and Dallas finally find their happiness?

I give Wicked Thing by Angeline Kace 4 glass of white zin! I look forward to reading more by this amazing author. If you have not read this book then I highly recommend this read!!!
