Remy
By Katy Evans
Our Rating: Four Glasses of Wine

Synopsis:
Underground fighter Remington Tate is a mystery, even to himself. His mind is dark and light, complex and enlightening. At times his actions and moods are carefully measured, and at others, they spin out of control.

Through it all, there's been one constant: wanting, needing, loving, and protecting Brooke Dumas. This is his story; from the first moment he laid eyes on her and knew, without a doubt, she would be the realest thing he's ever had to fight for.

Fall's Review:
If you have read Real and Mine then you must read Remy. Katy closes the Real series with the last installment, Remy. This is Real but told from Remington's point of view. I had the pleasure of reading all 3 books and reviewing Mine and Remy.

"I want to play you a thousand different songs so you get a clue of what... I feel inside me.

In Remy we get inside Riptides head and we see how he deals with his everyday struggles. How he feels when he fights, when he sees Brooke for the first time, when he is "speedy". We get to see him fall in love and straddle that line of love and obsession. We see how he feels about telling Brooke his "secrets" and how for the first time in his life he is terrified that what he has to say might make her leave, the one person he wants to stay!

“You have no idea what you’re asking for”
“I’m asking for you.”
"I won’t let you fucking leave me.”
“Maybe I won’t want to.”

Don't think that Katy doesn't give us anything new because she does! There are small chapters throughout the book that pick up where Mine left off and show us glimpses of Remy and Brooke. I found myself wanting a little bit more of Brooke and Remy (present) but was happy that we got to see how they are coping since Mine finished. If you have NOT read the first two books in this series then please don't start with Remy. It will have you asking A LOT of questions and will totally spoil the first two books for you.

"I want to be your fucking real. You get that? If I fuck you, I want you to belong to me. To be mine."             "I want you to give yourself to me-not fucking Riptide."

I am sad to close this chapter on Brooke and Remy.  However I am so glad that Katy wrote these amazing characters and shared them with us! I look forward to reading more by the very talented Katy Evans! This Riptide fan gives Remy 4 glasses of White Zin, and the Real series a whole bottle!!!!!

Beautifully Awake
By Riley Mackenzie
Our Rating: Four and a Half Glasses of Wine

Synopsis:
Diagnosis: Sleep-running
Treatment: Truth
Prognosis: Beautifully Awake

Lili Porter hates the rain. Bad things happen in the rain. As a small town social worker dedicated to protecting children, she is forced to start over to escape her rural disaster. Determined to follow her father’s advice—head up and chin high—Lili finds herself in a new city, taking on a new system, this time healthcare. In doing so, she gets something she never expected, an intimate behind-the-scenes look at life in the hospital.

Lili learns that a surgeon’s hands have the power to heal more than physical wounds. And a prescription for truth can cure three years of sleep running and leave you beautifully awake.

Fall's Review:
TRUTH...........This is a debut novel by the talented duo that is Riley Mackenzie. Being in the medical profession myself, I was very excited to read a book written by 2 intelligent ladies who also have the pleasure of working in medicine. The hospital is the main setting for this book, with the characters having most of their interactions there. Not only did I LOVE Chase and Lili, but also the MANY supporting characters as well.

TRUTH........Lili is a social worker that left her hometown to start fresh. Running, or as the authors call it "sleep running" from her past, Lili has spent the last three years unsure of where she is going. When she starts a new job and finds herself rounding with the Neurosurgical department staff, she starts to wonder how she got there.

"You woke me up, Chase. You brought color back to my life. The only time I ever want to see grey again is when I’m looking in your eyes."

TRUTH.......Chase is an ASS, plain and simple!! He knows he is good at what he does and he knows he is good looking.  He has no problem telling his staff when to jump and how high. When you are the new "Head of Neurosurgery" and have the reputation he does, he expects only the best! Battling with a haunted past of his own he copes with the best defense mechanism he knows, take no bull shit!

“Lili, truth. We are worth it.”

When Lili and Chase literally collide one day at work both their worlds are tilted off axis. When you have two wounded, bleeding hearts how can they possibly heal? At what point do you realize you have been sleep walking your life away? Can they heal each other and live the lives they are meant to live, instead of going through the motions?

"Chase...those demons don't have to be fought anymore. Let's keep them asleep...we'll stay awake..together."

Throw in a cast of smart, sexy, witty, flirty and even creepy nurses and doctors and you have an amazing book! I loved the banter between the interns and the doctors, nurses and patients. The chemistry not only from the leads but also the supporting characters was steamy! With a twist at the end of the book that I did not see coming, I think I laughed, cried and yelled (just a little) when I read this.  Riley Mackenzie hit it spot on with their first book and I cant not wait to read the second!  This nurse gives Beautifully Awake 4.5 glasses of Pinot Grigio (because its stronger!!!!)

Excerpt:
He was already dressed for the OR in his scrubs, looking ... amazing. The beat beneath my chest started again and my mouth watered, as I not so subtly roamed his body with my hungry eyes. All I wanted was to feel his body against mine, get lost in where I ended and he began. It was all I’d ever want. Forever. I finally got what he meant every time he said mine. He was mine.
“See something you like?” He smirked.
“Mm-hmm.”
“Baby, if you don’t stop looking at me like that I’m never gonna get out of here.”
“Truth. Sounds perfect to me.” Now I smirked.
“Ahh fuck, you’re killing me. You know scrubs don’t hide a hard-on very well.”
I laughed. He had a point there.
Leaning down, he kissed my nose. “Text you in a bit, see how your day is going...”
“K.”
So was this my life? I sunk back into the fluffy pillows and sighed. I wanted this to be my morning every morning.

About the Authors:

Yep. That's an “s.” There are two of us!

We’re East coast girls separated by Long Island Sound who met in Physician Assistant School and have been besties ever since. We can safely say that thirteen miles of water does not get in the way because we talk or text, no exaggeration, at least 150 times a day. No, really, we do—about everything and nothing. Shockingly, we never (we mean never) run out of things to say. Umm, ever. We definitely laugh A LOT and we’re a tad sarcastic. And if we’re being totally honest, one or two people might have, on occasion, used our names and ‘dramatic’ in the same sentence. But it’s hard to trust the sources since they married us.
It only took twelve years, two husbands, five kids, two dogs, and a two-week vacation in Cape Cod later to decide the romance world needed a splash of medicine. Write what you know.

So you can easily find us at 4 o'clock on Bank Street beach with a glass of cold Prosecco brainstorming. And guaranteed if we bump into you, literally, it’s only because our iPhones are glued to our hands (totally out of our control) either writing or editing our next novel (and yes, it is possible to do from your iPhone, we mastered it … damn those straight quotations).

When we are not working on our book or reading the latest angsty romance on our kindles, you basically name it and we have it going on. Soccer, lacrosse, golf, swimming, dance, gymnastics, football, chess, baseball, basketball, skiing, ice skating, school, homework, and more school.

Oh yeah, did we forget to mention our careers in medicine?
Needless to say, we realized fast that something had to go, so we opted for sleep. It’s completely overrated (yet so AMAZING) and delirium makes everything funnier. Good thing we share a brain and can pretty much complete each other’s sentences (definitely weird, we know), otherwise it might have taken us two years to write Beautifully Awake rather than one.

So that’s our story, who we are … just add AUTHORS to the list!

The man who saved her is also the man who destroyed her… or is he?

Seven years ago, I decided I wanted to be a fighter. Marcus Roma showed me how.

Six years ago, my parents died in a car accident. Marcus Roma picked me up off the ground and held me until I could stand on my own two feet.

Five years ago, I fell in love with him.

And then Marcus Roma disappeared. No warning. No explanation. Just gone.

Yesterday, he came back.

And now I have to decide who’s telling the truth, and who’s lying. Who wants something from me, and who wants…

Me.

If I guess wrong, I could lose everything. I need to think clearly. But Marcus makes that impossible. Marcus makes me weak. Marcus makes me want, in a way I’ve never felt before.

Marcus Roma will make me fall. The only question is—will he be there to catch me this time?

LIE TO ME is a new adult / adult contemporary romance novel about truth, lies, and redemption. It is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Aly's Review
Lie to Me by Chloe Cox was fabulous. It's not what you normally expect from Chloe Cox (no bdsm) but I swear, I think I liked this book most of all. Lie to Me is dark  and gritty, filled with angst, drama, doubt, and rekindled love.

Harlow and Marcus meet as teenagers only to have it fall apart when Marcus disappears one day. Both of them are broken, but together form one soul. When Marcus shows back up emotions fly. Chloe did such an amazing job writing this book, I actually felt heartbreak along with these characters. It's not all angst and sadness. The chemistry between these two, is hot, definitely some steamy scenes in there too. I adored the way this story is told from dual POV. The story line is so intricate so the dual point of view allows us to really get all the nitty gritty details.

Oh, let me just tell you ladies, Marcus is a STUD! Total book boyfriend, maybe even a dethrone Remy kind of book boyfriend. Yes, I said it. He is just that hott! <---- Yes, I used two t's.

I want to go all into this story, but there is just too many ways for me to ruin this one for you. I'm going to stop now, before I tell you about the roof....damn! See I should have stopped earlier. Go grab a copy of this one and experience it for yourself. I'm happily giving Lie to Me by Chloe Cox, four and a half glasses of wine!

AUTHOR BIO:
I love to tell stories. I especially love romance, only with all the good and sexy parts left in, and sometimes with a little kink, too. I cry at the dumbest commercials, I hide behind the nearest person during scary movies (and then make them tell me what’s going on), and I spend way too much money sending my friends gag gifts. (Amazon Prime free shipping is a dangerous, dangerous thing.)
So aside from feeling compelled to sit at my computer and make stuff up all day, I’m an otherwise normal gal navigating life, family, love and the rest. I am also a voracious, omnivorous reader, a disastrous cook (recipes are at best just suggestions), and the human who belongs to two bat%$&! insane cats.

Synopsis

Everyone makes mistakes in life. Unfortunately, Holly Richards has become an expert at taking the wrong path in life. This time, she may have gone so far that she has alienated the one person who has always been there for her. Will she be able to make the right decision for once in her life?
Tommy Reed’s world shifted the night he found Holly Richards lying in a pool of blood on the ground. For reasons he can’t explain, he feels the need to protect Holly from her own past. In the process, he’s hoping to also teach her that there is more to D/s than releasing pent up emotions. Life isn’t easy for the former-junkie and the cop. Some of those closest to Tommy are less than thrilled with his devotion to Holly. Those who pressured Holly into her former life are worried she’ll share what she knows. Is there any way for both of them to come away from the situation unscathed?

Ash's Review:

LET. ME. TELL. YOU. SOMETHING!!!!!  I LOVE LOVE L-O-V-E-D Unexpected Protector.  How much did I love it, you ask?  I started it less than 24 hours ago. Once I got rolling today, there was no stopping me!!!!

Sloan did it again.  She did a great job at letting us in to the lives of Tommy and Holly, letting us see their weaknesses and flaws, without dwelling on them.  She does an amazing job at the passage of time too. She does not write a book that only spans over the course of a week because we get a day by day by day by, ugh, day rundown of their lives.  We are lucky to see their lives and how it's progressed over a period of time.  Did that even make sense??? I'm sure it did, moving on.

We start just about where UA (ha! For us medical people) ends, with Holly in the hospital and Tommy keeping vigilance at her bedside.....and why is Tommy there you ask? Even he is not sure, aside from the fact that he feels drawn to her.  As the story progresses, we see him become more attached and determined to help her.  And eventually their relationship becomes more than just him trying to help out the friend of a friend.

Holly is unsure what she has done to deserve the kindness from her unexpected protector, but soon enough she finds a way to accept and eventually embrace it.  With the help of both her best friend Tasha (even though Tasha owes her nothing), and Tommy, Holly begins to find herself for what is the first time in her life.

Everything seems to be moving right along and looking up for them both when some one returns to Tommy's life and threatens to ruin what they have......and don't worry, it's not another woman!!!

I have a few complaints, but only because I am an impatient girl!  First, the book just ends...... In the middle of some crazy drama!!!!! I literally SHOUTED "oh come on, you have GOT to be F*cking sh*tting me!!!!"  Seriously, my husband looked up at me like I had two heads!  Sloan, you are killing me! I can not wait for the next book!!!!  Secondly, I still feel like I don't really know much about the Alliance.  I understand WHAT it is, but I would like to know more about how it was formed, ect, ect.

Minor griping aside, I absolutely LOVED this book and am gladly giving Unexpected Protector 4.5 glasses of White Zin! Now Sloan, can I get a sneak peak of what happens next???

Excerpt

I nod, my throat constricted by the emotion I’m not used to feeling. “Good girl,” he whispers in my ear before drawing the lobe into his mouth, sucking and nipping. He continues working his way down my neck, biting my collarbone harder than I’m used to. I jerk in surprise, but not in pain. “Don’t stop,” I beg him. My mind doesn’t seem to process the fact that he’s on the wrong end of my body to make my core clench tight. I never knew before now that it’s possible to be driven to climax without any direct contact with either my nipples or pussy. I scream his name as my head falls back, eventually allowing my head to come back to rest on his shoulder. “Such a responsive girl,” he praises me as he holds me close to him. “What about you?” I ask when my breathing returns to normal.

Excerpt:

I take another step toward him, building up the nerve to just do it, just kiss him.  But Hemi surprises me when he takes the step that will bring us near enough to touch.

He’s so close, my chest almost brushes his every time I inhale. I sway toward him the tiniest bit, craving the contact.  With him.  A perfect stranger.

“Sloane,” he whispers, the sound of my name on his lips bringing chills to my arms again.  He reaches out to push my hair back over my shoulder.  His fingertips linger on the skin of my neck before they fall away.

“Hemi,” I sigh, melting into the heat of his eyes.  I knew there was something between us. Well, I’d hoped. Hoped I wasn’t imagining it. But now I know I wasn’t.  It’s there, staring out at me from behind his hooded midnight eyes. Blatant and unabashed, he wants me.  And I want him, too.

“You need to walk out that door and never come back.”

My heart stops.  Of all the things I thought he might say, this came out of nowhere.  “What?” I ask in a small, uncertain voice.

“You need to leave.  And don’t look back.”

I scramble to recover.  “But…but what about the rest of my tattoo?”

“I’m not talking about your tattoo and you know it.”

“Then what are you talking about?” I inquire, playing dumb to save what’s left of my crumbling pride.

“I’m talking about you.  And me.  This. Us.”

“There is no us.”

“There will be in about thirty seconds if you don’t get the hell out of here.”

“What if I don’t want to leave?” I’m confused. Is he saying that he wants me?  Or that he wants me to go?

“I’m not asking.”

“Why?”

“Why what?”

“Why do you want me to go?”

“Because guys like me change girls like you.”

“Girls like me?”

“Innocent girls.”

“What if I’m not that innocent?”

His lips quirk in a wry grin.  “Oh, you’re exactly that innocent.  I can practically smell it on you. Sweet, pure, untouched.  And, if I’m being honest, I’d like nothing better than to taste that on the tip of my tongue.”

“Then what’s stopping you?”

I watch him wrestle with…something.  “I don’t have the time or the inclination to get involved in ruining someone else’s life.”

“What makes you think you’d ruin my life?”

“Oh, trust me.  I would.”

“But—”

“But nothing.  For tonight, I’ll be the good guy you need me to be.  Whether you know you need it or not. I’m asking you to leave, Sloane.  But I promise you—promise you—that if you so much as darken my doorway again, I won’t let you walk back out again.”

I’m torn between heady elation and harsh rejection.  “Hemi—”

“Go, little girl,” he says softly.  “Go before I change my mind.”

Synopsis
“I will do anything to make her MINE.” —Remington Tate

In the international bestseller REAL, the unstoppable bad boy of the Underground fighting circuit finally met his match. Hired to keep him in prime condition, Brooke Dumas unleashed a primal desire in Remington “Remy” Tate as vital as the air he breathes . . . and now he can’t live without her.

Brooke never imagined she would end up with the man who is every woman’s dream, but not all dreams end happily ever after, and just when they need each other the most, Brooke is torn away from the ringside. Now with distance and darkness between them, the only thing left is to fight for the love of the man she calls MINE.

Fall's Review
If you have not read REAL by Katy Evans yet then you don't know what your missing out on. My co-blogger Aly hounded me for weeks, "Just read it Fall! Have I never steered you in the wrong direction when it comes to a book?" Finally I broke down and read REAL and my life was forever changed (not really, but it was GOOD!!!)

“I'm the realest fucking thing you're ever going to have.”

MINE picks right up where REAL left off. Remy is still hot as F@CK and is back with a vengence. With Brooke by his side he is out to prove that only one man rules the underground and that man is Remy "RIPTIDE" Tate. Remy and Brooke are still hot and heavy and Katy does not disappoint with the steamy sex in this book. However we see different sides of both Remy and Brooke. Weaknesses are brought into the light and the veil of perfection is lifted. When you are not looking at the world through rose colored glasses it is amazing what you have been missing.

“I’m in love, and I will be forever changed by this love, by this man. I used to dream of medals and championships, but now I dream solely of a blue-eyed fighter who one day changed my life, when he put his lips on mine. . . ”

Brooke battles to stand strong and fight the demons that Remy deals with on a daily basis. Finally opening her eyes to what has been in front of her all along. Remy has to learn to deal with his obsessions. True love is amazing but there is a fine line between loving someone too much and obsession.  When pasts come back to haunt and new obstacles arise they must stand strong and support one another. If one falls they both fall and with it all that they have accomplished. An unforeseen circumstance forces the two apart and tests their strengths.  Reality can be an evil bitch but with patience, perseverance and love all things can be "real." Can Remy and Brooke handle what life has thrown at them being apart?

“Baby, the way you need me can only barely cover half of the way I need you.”
“I promise. I promise, you have my heart, and you have me. You will always have me.”

I was honored to read this ARC and LOVED every minute of it. So much that I could NOT put it down! I know that we all enjoyed REAL and will enjoy MINE and soon REMY just as much! I give MINE by Katy Evans a whole bottle of white zin! Katy, I will be on pins and needles waiting for REMY to be released!!!!!

“You're everything I never knew I wanted.”

Ash's Review

This book was fantastic!! I don't usually read books like this, so I wasn't really sure what to expect or if I would even enjoy it.  I was pleasantly surprised!!! As a matter of fact, once I got in to it, I could not put it down!!!

Anna is on vacation with her sick teenage son and estranged husband when she over hears him plotting to have her killed.  She immediately high tails it out of Mexico and back to Dallas, only to be found while hiding out in a hotel.  Lucky for her, hot DEA agent Leland is in the room above her and rushes in to save the day.  Little does she know that getting tangled up with him is going to be more than she bargained for and is going to lead her down quite the bumpy road.

Fast paced and full of non stop action, I loved this book from start to finish.  Aside from there being quite a few names for me to try and keep straight, I have NO complaints about this book.  The story flowed really well and was extremely well written.  I can not wait to read the next book in the series of hot, ex-military men!!

Kay Thomas and Hard Target are getting 4 very full glasses of White Zin from this thrill seeking blogger!!

About The Author:
I didn’t grow up burning to be a writer. As a child I wasn’t even much of a reader until fourth grade. That’s when I was stuck at home with the flu and my big sister read THE BLACK STALLION aloud to me. For hours I was enthralled—shipwrecked in a foreign land and riding an untamed horse across the hot desert sand. Then tragedy struck. My sister lost her voice. (I think she caught my flu.) But I couldn’t wait to hear what happened to Alec Ramsey—so I picked up that book, finished reading it by myself, and went in search of more adventures at the local library. Today I live in Dallas with my husband, our two children, and a shockingly-spoiled Boston terrier.

My next novel will be published with Avon Impulse in November 2013. HARD TARGET is the first installment in a three-book romantic suspense series titled ELITE OPS, featuring sexy ex-military men…and the women who rescue their hearts. For excerpts, book trailers, and more—visit my website at

Excerpt:

This is a scene from the first chapter of HARD TARGET where the heroine, Anna Mercado, overhears her estranged husband, Max, talking on the phone.

“Take Zach from the party before the guests arrive. We won’t dump her body until the designated time. It’s all been arranged.”
Anna stopped in the doorway of the Presidential suite, her husband’s words abruptly penetrating her lust-fogged brain.
“No, I’m not worried. Haven’t you heard? Mexico is the land of vicious drug cartels and random violence. My wife will be a sad statistic.”
Was this a dream?
She felt the cold Italian marble beneath her bare feet and recognized Max’s voice in the adjoining room, but she didn’t wake up. The seductive words he had whispered moments earlier on the beach still resonated in her head.
The only thing I want you to wrap yourself around is me.
She’d come up immediately when Julia had volunteered to get Zach and the cousins’ meals from the hotel’s beach grill. But on the way to the room she’d been calling herself all kinds of a fool. She and Max were on the verge of officially separating even though they’d been living apart for several months. The counseling wasn’t working. Having sex was a terrible idea. Even comfort sex.
Yet he’d been so attentive, so different on this trip. So anxious to please her, while keeping his temper completely in check. Last week she’d been considering which attorney to use in a divorce. Now she was just grateful she was standing here overhearing his phone conversation in the next room.
Her thoughts raced and her blood chilled, but her feet were glued to the imported floor. She stared across the opulent suite’s living room to the open balcony doors. The heir to the Mercado Tequila fortune settled for nothing less than the finest, even when planning his family’s demise.
An ocean breeze blew through the room, ruffling her hair like a playful lover. The Gulf of Mexico was just as blue as it had been ten minutes ago when Max kissed her on the sand, yet everything had changed. She was listening to her husband order their son’s kidnapping and her murder.

Synopsis:
Stubbornly small-town Jenny Lindstrom has misgivings when she promises to stand proxy in her best friend’s wedding—misgivings that are fulfilled when tall, handsome Sam Kelley walks into the courthouse an hour late. In order to keep her promise, an afternoon favor turns into a weekend of startling but undeniable attraction, threatening the well-ordered world that keeps her heart at arm’s length from any more pain.

Sam’s plan is to fly to Livingston, Montana, take vows for his favorite cousin, and return to Chicago as quickly as possible. But his plan is turned upside-down when he must spend a weekend with Jenny in Gardiner in order to keep his word. He doesn’t want to fall for the prim, proper schoolteacher whose small-town life seems to him like selling out, but the more time he spends with her, the harder it is to say good-bye.

When city and country come together for Christmas, the unexpected gift is true love

Fall's Review

Proxy:  a person authorized to act for another

This is Katy's debut novel and the first in The Heart of Montana series. I was provided this novel in exchange for an honest review. In South Carolina we don't see a lot of snow or even true "cold" temperatures. However being a Northern girl who transplanted herself in the south I can appreciate the cool air and wonders of winter.

By Proxy was a light hearted story. If you want something that has love, witty banter, sexy characters and not much angst then this is the story for you. Sam is a playboy who has an established life in Chicago. When his cousin who is away fighting in Afghanistan asks him to stand proxy in his wedding, Sam does not think twice before saying yes. Jenny is a guarded soul. She gave up her dreams to care for her sick mother and lost herself in the process. When her best friend Ingrid asks her to stand proxy at her wedding, she says yes, although the thought of saying vows to someone she does not love does not sit well with her.

When Jenny literally crashes into Sam, she is knocked off her feet in more ways then one. When circumstances force them to spend the weekend together they will learn that you can not judge a book by its cover. Maybe even learning that the lives they lead may not be the ones that truly make them happy. Can you find your soulmate in one weekend?

“The heart wants what the heart wants. Beyond common sense. Beyond higher reason.”

Although not my typical read I found that once the story got rolling I enjoyed the sweet story of Sam and Jenny. For her first novel I would say that Katy Regnery is heading down the right path! I give By Proxy by Katy Regnery 3.5 glasses of white zin.

Fall's Review:
This is the final book in the Surrender Your Love series and once again J.C. Reed did not disappoint. In the first two books we meet Jett and Brooke. Jett the Millionaire sexy, playboy and Brooke the sometimes naive, gorgeous bombshell. We watch as they battle not only their personal demons but also the obstacles of their relationship. Secrets are kept and lies are told. We all know only bad things come from secrets and lies.

“It also reminds me that true power comes not from submission or gain, but from controlling my inner demons. Because our true enemies live within ourselves and feed from the lessons we failed to learn from our pasts.”

Treasure your love had so much going on that I had a hard time putting it down because I wanted to know what happened next. The story has several twists and unpredictable turns. It is action packed with plenty of angst, suspense and thrill. Several nefarious characters appear from both Jett’s shady past, as well as Brooke’s. These characters add an extra layer of mystery to the story, holding our couple hostage, and playing them as if they were puppets on strings. Things are not always what they seem, and when it comes down to the wire, Brooke and Jett must question everyone’s loyalty. We still get plenty of steamy, HOT sex and we see sides to both Brooke and Jett that we have not met.

“Life's uncontrollable, unpredictable, and a hell of a mess. Without fear, loss, and the wrong choice we made, we wouldn't be who we were. And while some of our decisions had broken us, the pain glued us together. Without the passion, we wouldn't have surrendered and conquered what we never thought could be ours.”

With an ending that most readers, myself included, do not see coming the series ended on a great high. No cliffhangers, and I will tell you we eventually get a happy ever after. There is just a lot of shit that happens in between. Although the series is "complete" J.C. Reed leaves the end with the slight possibility of more to come. Maybe a spin off series?!?! We can only hope!  But if not, I look forward to what J.C. Reed has in store for us next! I am sad to leave Jett and Brooke behind but am happy of the time we spent together at 3am under the covers so as not to wake my husband (even if I was left hot and bothered).

“You know the feeling you get when you think you hear music, and it makes you stop in your tracks, completely absorbed? Well, that’s how I felt when I kissed you for the very first time. I knew right then that I could love you.”

I give Treasure Your Love by J.C.Reed 4.5 glasses of White Zin! Until next time J.C.Reed, keep doing what you do best!!!!
